Logo and Name

J is now on board for the Surf Company after his interest in helping us create a logo and a name for the upcoming boards to be shaped. He and I have been throwing some ideas back and forth through e-mail and come up with a pretty solid design. It's not definite...yet, but any ideas are more then welcome. Feel free to e-mail or post comments on what you think would be good. Here are some pics of some merch. that J designed with the new board name idea of 'Exo Boards'.

The Hoodie is SICK.

I’ve been blog surfing today looking for information on goal setting theory, and sometimes just a word or phrase is all it takes to spark my imagination and enable
me to add more free stuff to my website.

Thanks, I found a little nugget one on your blog that got me “sparkly”.

There’s a ton of information on goal setting on just “normal” bloggers blogs that is very useful in my research and I hope to add more free information to my web site with the tidbits I find in blogs, and am writing another eBook with input from bloggers based on the research I’m doing just by blog surfing.

You’d be surprised at the depth of information out there from people who are not selling or marketing anything remotely regarding goal setting theory and goal setting.

Have a great day! And thanks again for the "nugget"!

Have you ever seriously gone blog surfing? I mean for hours, days even.

I’ve spent the past few days surfing specific keywords like effective goal setting and
have found dozens of new pieces of related goal setting information I’ve not seen or written about anywhere, and voila, your blog popped up for this specific keyword search.

Sometimes I get unrelated blogs, and others it’s right on. So much for the blog search engines.

Anyway, I’m trying to find and add relevant information to my web site that no one else has published or commented on. It looks like you might know a lot about goal setting so you can appreciate how difficult it is to find new stuff.

It’s amazing how a simple word or phrase like effective goal setting can help your imagination, and I found such a word on your blog that will be very helpful, which is why I’m leaving a comment…

…to say thank you. You’ve helped a stranger without even knowing it, in a way
you’d never guess.

Thanks again!

Well Eric Grimes, quality blogging comes from people who put the energy into their blog like you have. It was a nice change to land on your blog, lots of others are junked up with useless comments and information. I put a lot of energy into my surf boards site, so it does pretty well with surf boards stuff. I think I'll re-create my blog because I like what you've done here and want mine to be more like yours. Thanks for the lesson in good bloggin. You get a special bookmark :)

have a fantastic day..

Eric Grimes, I need a little inspiration... I've read your post 'Logo and Name', I enjoyed it so I decided to comment. I've been thinking about my blog and how there are all these people posting strange comments there. Maybe you understand, I'm not sure, but it's tiring to read the numbers of comments that don't have much to do with my stuff. My normal website never suffers this because it just sells and isn't a blog. Do you have any ideas for how to stop the cluttering of non-relevant comments? Thanks for your great blog. Tips are always welcome...

good day -

Hey Eric Grimes...
How did you get your blog to be so good? Originally I was out trying to locate new surfboards related information, but your post ' Logo and Name ' got my attention and stopped me in my tracks :) Glad I found you because I'm trying to improve my site about new surfboards and your blog here gave me some excellent ideas. Thanks Eric Grimes for the good read and I think I'll mention your blog to my cousin (if that's okay...)

Keep up your effort ~ and good job.

Well, is there something a little weird going on here? I don't know about you Eric Grimes, but my blog gets pretty cluttered with spammy comments from people. My advice to you as one blog owner to another, is to be patient and focus on the great things about having a blog, instead of all the junk that goes on. You do have a quality blog and appears that you enjoy it. My favorite web project so far is a new surfboards site, because I have total control and it makes me a couple dollars here and there. It's pretty hard to find new information on new surfboards stuff though. Hey, keep up your excellent job Eric Grimes, and good luck with your projects..

See ya ~

Howdy Eric Grimes,
I'm impressed with what you wrote here in your Logo and Name post. I gave up my search for new surf boards information and wanted to hang out here on your blog - well done. I might make a blog like yours about new surf boards, but I wouldn't try to compete with you. You're doing a great job Eric Grimes.
You got a great thing going... by friend.

Great post Eric Grimes, without blogs like yours I would be miserable and bored. My recent injury has me cooped up at home, so it's always lucky to find a gem like your blog here to keep me amused. My surf boards website is getting better but it's hard to find information on surf boards stuff, so I like learning from quality blogs like yours because it helps me in my web projects. You do a sweat job my friend. I'll be bookmarking your site in a special place. Will probably tell a friend too.

Nice work ~
